TOUR DESCRIPTION

Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel or nearby, as we set off on an unforgettable adventure. Our first stop is the charming village of Yaiza, where you’ll have time to enjoy breakfast while we prepare for the day ahead.

Next, we head straight to the awe-inspiring Timanfaya National Park. At Islote de Hilario, witness the incredible geothermal activity beneath the surface, where temperatures soar to a scorching 610ºC just metres below your feet. Be amazed by the dramatic geothermal demonstrations that reveal the true power of the island’s volcanic past.

We then embark on the famous Route of the Volcanoes, an otherworldly journey through craters, fire-scarred ravines, and vast lava fields. Along the way, you’ll hear the fascinating story of the Timanfaya eruptions, making this volcanic landscape come alive before your eyes.

For those seeking an extra adventure, there’s an optional camel ride at the Camel Station, where you can enjoy the unique experience of riding through the volcanic terrain (€11/ £9.30* per person)

Afterwards, we’ll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy lunch back in Yaiza. Whether you choose to explore a local eatery or pack a picnic, this is the perfect moment to soak in the surroundings (lunch not included).

Our journey continues along the dramatic Lava Coast, where we’ll take in the striking views of Los Hervideros, and the mesmerising Green Lagoon, a vibrant, emerald-coloured lake nestled in a volcanic crater. We’ll also stop at the Salinas del Janubio, where the shimmering salt flats provide perfect photo opportunities against the stunning backdrop of Lanzarote’s coastline.

To finish, we’ll visit the heart of Lanzarote’s wine country, La Geria. This unique wine-growing region, shaped by the volcanic landscape, produces some of the island’s most exquisite wines. Here, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a wine tasting, where you can savour the rich flavours of Lanzarote’s famous Malvasía grapes, grown in this beautiful, otherworldly terrain.
