DESCRIPTION

One of the star activities of your holiday in Gran Canaria is, without any doubt, the search and sighting of cetaceans in their natural habitat. Since they are in their natural environment at times it is difficult to sight them. That is why Spirit of the Sea moves heaven and earth to not leave the island of Gran Canaria without having seen dolphins, whales or other cetaceans living in the southern coasts. A catamaran designed and built not only for the sighting and search of cetaceans, but also a catamaran crew concerned about the protection and care of the sea environment, in which numerous studies are made. The starting point of "Spirit of the Sea" will be the base port in Puerto Rico, from where we will depart for navigation throughout the southwest of the island of Gran Canaria. Previously, a bus hired by the company will pick you up at your hotel or at the point closest to it, and take you back to it at the end of the tour.

We will continue the navigation with the aim of searching the most common species on the coast, such as the common dolphin, striped dolphin, tropical rorqual or rorqual, as well as the pilot whales, the gray whale or the sperm whales, and teethed cetaceans. Also other marine species such as turtles and flying fish.

At all times you will be with a guide who will explain all the animals we are seeing, and the history behind these animals in the Canary Islands. Through the boat glasses, you can see all sea life. Amazing and unique in the Canary Islands.

On top of that refreshments and water throughout the navigation will be served so that your experience is complete and you don’t miss out on anything.
